1.Just turn OFF your rooted Motorola Defy and allow it to enter into the stock recovery mode.

2.You can turned ON your phone by powering the phone with Volume Down keys. After that you should choose the options “wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache”. By doing so all the cache stored in the phone will get clear.

3.Now, you need to reboot your phone from the stock recovery by using the Volume Up button. Then open the RSD lite and then flash the Nordic file.

4.After this you need to download the Gingerbread 2.3.5 release zip file, Google apps file from here to your computer.
