2.Once you backup all the SMS, MMS, Contacts, Images, Files etc. Note down the APN settings and MMS Settings by following the path Applications >Settings >Wireless and Network >Mobile Networks >Access Point Names.

3.Next, charge your LG Optimus Black P970 upto 100% or atleast 75%.

Procedure to root LG Optimus Black P970 smartphone:

1.First, download the Gingerbreak APK file from here. Once you downloaded copy the same on your desktop.

2.Next, connect your LG Optimus Black P970 smartphone to your computer with the help of USB cable.

3.Now, copy the downloaded Gingerbread APK file to the SD card of your smartphone.
