This tutorial will explain how to root Sony Xperia ZL (C650X) smartphone. Please be note that this tutorial is only for Unlocked Bootloader smartphone.

1.Before start to implement the given below procedure on your Sony Xperia ZL smartphone, please take a full backup of your internal datas. So, then if anything goes wrong you can get them back.
2.Next check the battery percentage level of your phone, if it is less than 75% charge your device fully.
3.Next enable the USB debugging option on your phone. “Here is the tutorial to enable the USB debugging mode“.
4.Next ensure the firmware version of your Sony Xperia ZL smartphone [10.1.A.1.350]
5.Finally, make sure your phone is “bootloader unlocked” and working with kernel recovery.

Step by Step instructions to root Sony Xperia ZL smartphone:
1.First download the SuperSU-1.25-Busybox-1.20.2-update.zip from here to your computer.
2.Once you downloaded the file, save the same on your external SD card.
3.After that flash any kernel which contains recovery (for stock based ROM eg: Advanced Stock Kernel).
4.After that boot your phone into recovery and flash the file “SuperSU-1.25-Busybox-1.20.2-update.zip”.
5.After that reboot your phone and the firmware will be fully rooted on your device with Busybox and SuperSU installed.
