1) Download Xtreme-Mod ROM from here and save it on your computer. Now connect Micromax A45 to your computer and transfer the downloaded file to the SD card.

2) Once done, go to CWM recovery by press the Volume Up, Volume Down and Power Button’s in your device. Now in the CWM recovery, do Factory Reset followed by Data Reset.

3) Now format the system by following this path: Mounts And Storage -> Scroll Down>Format System. Upon finishing that, format delvik cache by following this path: Advanced -> Dalvik Cache.

4) Now after finishing the Reset and formatting process, go back to the CWM main screen and choose the download Xtreme-Mod ROM zip file in the SD card for installation.

5) Upon successful installation, reboot your Micromax A45 smartphone.

  3. Go to CWM, wipe dalvik cache, wipe partition cache and reboot. You will be able to boot properly.

  5. Hey I done all the steps. It shows me that my android version is 4.0.4.
    But its not true. I look at my phone’s UI. It still looks like 2.3.6.
    So what can I do now?

    The ROM is based on ICS but the base ROM is still Gingerbread. There is no way you can install ICS on your device.

  8. Hi friend,just download root genius from or just type root genius free download.then open root genius in your computer and connect your phone to it by enabling usb debbuging in it..then click on root your phone will automatically root if not try again…. for almost alll devices (android)
